Music Program

Music is at the heart and soul of Haitian culture, and we are thrilled that we have been able to provide music education to the children since January 2016.  Through the music program, we have purchased many instruments for the children and we also pay the salaries of 3 music teachers who visit the orphanage each week and teach classes and lessons to the children.  This program has been such a gift to raise the spirits and self-confidence of the children and provide them with some healing from the trauma that they have experienced.  This program has been made possible thanks to a generous grant from the Center for Creative Healing in Putney, VT, fundraising by students at the Winsor School in Boston, and through many generous donors.
